Scott Stewart won the WSOPC Main Event
American reg Scott Stewart won the WSOP Circuit Main Event, earning $125,279 and his 9th gold ring of the series. The final showdown will be remembered for a comeback and the biggest oddity of the whole series on the second-to-last hand.

In the heads-up, Stewart was initially down more than 2:1 in chips. The turning point came in a key hand when his opponent Tyler Parker tried to run a big bluff on the river. Mulling over his decision, Scott jokingly "consulted" a bottle of bourbon, took a sip, and called, exposing his opponent's bluff. That hand left his rival with no chances, and soon the American took the title.
The alcohol told me — call, and then go and win this tournament
He shared this win with his best friend Jarod Minghini. In 2022, Minghini won this same tournament in memory of his late brother, and now the friends have dedicated the victory to him once again.
