Short Deck made its debut in 2015. Three years later, the card game was introduced globally at the Triton Series. Soon after, online poker rooms added short-deck action. While Short Deck did not overtake Texas Hold'em, and interest eventually stabilized, you can still find short deck tables on PokerOK and RedStar Poker.
