Jared Bleznick is ready to make a $2 million bet against Shaun Deeb

WSOP champion Jared Bleznick said on the Late Reg podcast that he wants to set up a bet against Shaun Deeb at the next World Series. He's ready to wager $2 million that he can rack up more fantasy points over the festival than Deeb. Players earn those points for cashes in tournaments.
That said, Bleznick doesn't want to bet directly against Shaun — he's hoping to line up a whole group of opponents:
However, Bleznick has a solid track record of betting against Deeb. In 2024 he didn't make the WSOP Fantasy draft and bet Shaun $1 million that he'd score more points than Deeb's 10-man team. In the end Bleznick cashed 11 times and won a bracelet in the $50,000 NLH High Roller. Jared beat 9 of the 10 players on Deeb's team, losing out only to Chance Kornuth.

"I'd have to put up at least $2 million to really take this seriously and see it through. But I wouldn't bet against Shaun's money. I want to do it against 20 people putting up $100,000 each. I don't want to compete with Shaun for that kind of money."Pulling off a challenge like that wouldn't be easy, because this year Deeb played the full WSOP schedule in Las Vegas and made 120 entries into tournaments.
