Mike Caro returns to the media spotlight after 20 years of silence and reveals the secret behind his trick
Legendary 82-year-old poker player Mike Caro, nicknamed "the Mad Genius of Poker", has finally explained, after twenty years of secluded life in the woods, why he used to publicly burn $100 bills before the start of a game.

Caro followed one rule:
"In poker you have to value money, but pretend you don't care about it at all".

Seeing a player burn a hundred bucks, opponents automatically read him as a reckless, loose player. But right after that performance Caro would switch styles and play like a tight regular, collecting easy profit from the players who had bought into his madness.

The "Mad Genius" also announced his return to the industry. He is currently working on several books at once, as well as poker software, and plans to relaunch his training courses.
