Phil Nagy named betting syndicates as one of the reasons for the withdrawal problems at ACR

ACR Poker CEO Phil Nagy, as promised, has commented in detail on the situation involving blocked withdrawals of user funds from the platform. He once again stated that the room is not experiencing any liquidity problems.
The company's CEO wrote that the requirement to generate poker rake equal to 10% of the deposit amount has been in place for a long time and helps prevent the platform from being used as a tool for depositing and quickly withdrawing funds.
Nagy linked the extension of this rule from ACR Sportsbook to the company's other products to the actions of professional bettors:
"We extended this requirement to our additional products after encountering significant coordinated activity from professional players in the sports betting market, including organized betting syndicates that used ACR primarily as a standalone sportsbook platform."
At the same time, Nagy apologized and admitted a mistake in the situation with one of the players, who received incorrect information about the amount of rake required to withdraw funds. According to him, the cause was a misunderstanding within the company, and support staff gave the user incorrect information.
In addition, the ACR CEO said that the platform will revise the wording in its "Terms of Use" to eliminate ambiguous interpretations of the rules.
At the end of his statement, Nagy especially emphasized:
"No one has ever said that ACR will not pay this player his money. We will. We understand that some people may disagree with the policy requiring rake to be generated. That's fine, but that is not the same as ACR being unable or unwilling to pay its players.
I want to make the main point clear: this is not a liquidity problem, and ACR is not refusing to pay the affected player."
