In Northern Cyprus, the first multi-day tournament of the NOIR Poker Series has come to an end. Dmitry Kravchenko fell just one step short of the $3500 Merit Poker Cup title. The Ukrainian spent most of the final day with a short stack but made it to heads-up. However, Israeli player Ohad Geiger held on to his chip lead and claimed the trophy.

In the decisive hand, Kravchenko decided to bluff with ♠️2️⃣ and pushed all-in on the turn ♥️♠️2️⃣♠️, holding bottom pair and a flush draw. Geiger called and showed ♥️♣️. The Israeli had second pair, and his edge held up on the ♦️ river.

Kravchenko earned $168,000 for second place, setting a new best cash. Geiger, meanwhile, took home $240,000 for the win. The Israeli player claimed his second live title — the first being a WSOP 2019 bracelet in the $1000 Tag Team event, won in partnership with Barak Wisbrod.

The Day 3 chip leader of the Merit Poker Cup, Vyacheslav Kardash, held onto first place at the start of the final table as well, but he lost his stack fairly quickly. The Russian busted in ninth place, losing a cooler with pocket queens against the kings of Yulu Yuan.
