A true Santa Claus has taken his seat at the WSOP Main Event

The Real Santa Claus Has Arrived at the WSOP Main Event
The starting flights of the $10,000 Main Event at the World Series traditionally attract not only top-tier regulars but also colourful players ready to turn the most prestigious tournament of the year into a show. The star of the opening days was American Charles Moore, who took his seat at the Horseshoe casino tables fully dressed as Santa Claus.
Moore was involved in a massive early-stage hand, scooping a pot of 137,500 chips. Charles shoved all-in with pocket aces and held clean against the pocket kings of British player Ryan Plant. Before raking in the chips, he cheerfully waved goodbye to his opponent.
In the video comments, users expressed genuine sympathy for the Brit:
"Imagine saving up ten thousand dollars for a year to buy into the Main Event, flying to Vegas, doing all your pre-tournament prep, only to be busted out by a guy in a red Christmas hat."
