Mass blocks under Federal Law 115-FZ have restricted P2P cashouts in poker rooms
August 30, 2026

Russian-speaking poker players have faced a wave of bank card blocks when attempting to withdraw funds from PokerOK, RedStar, and Pokerdom.
Between August 28 and 29, the Russian-speaking poker community recorded a record spike in bank account blocks under Law 115-FZ. The problem massively affected clients of Sber, T-Bank, and VTB who made deposits or withdrew winnings through poker rooms' internal P2P services.
The main cause of the disruptions was the tightening of banks' financial monitoring algorithms regarding frequent P2P transfers between individuals. Transactions of any size fall under the blocks — from small $100 withdrawals to large payments.
Due to the banning of merchants' working cards, the processing time for withdrawal requests within clients has increased to 12–24 hours, and the internal P2P exchange rate has noticeably dropped compared to the USDT market rate.

"The bank's security service blocks accounts immediately after two or three incoming transfers from unfamiliar persons. The algorithms react to round sums and frequent transactions. Using personal cards for regular cashouts right now is a direct path to having your funds frozen pending clarification of their origin."Representatives of backing funds and financial experts strongly recommend that players fully switch their operations to cryptocurrency, avoid using salary cards for P2P transfers, and split amounts when making irregular payments.
