Daniel Negreanu makes his debut on Hustler Casino Live
August 18, 2026

Eight-time World Series bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu will play in a cash game on Hustler Casino Live for the first time in his career. The Canadian pro will make his stream debut on August 28. The game will run with blinds of $100/$200 and a minimum buy-in of $50,000. The full lineup has not yet been announced.
Hustler Casino Live accompanied the announcement of Negreanu's debut with an AI video in which the show's regulars performed a soul-funk song with the lyrics: "Big D energy is coming to HCL." The video racked up more than 150,000 views on X.
Under the video, the most profitable player in HCL history, Nik Airball, chimed in, writing: "A $100,000 minimum buy-in seems more fitting for a legend." Previously, ahead of his February matchup with Kristen Foxen on the show, Airball had declared: "All tournament players are weak, it's the easiest money I've ever seen!" However, the Canadian poker player finished that session with a profit of $17,100, while the American cash-game player ended up down $399,900.
In the 2000s and early 2010s, Daniel Negreanu was a regular on High Stakes Poker. Since then, the Canadian has appeared less frequently in televised cash games. He last took part in such a show in November 2023, when he played in the third season of No Gamble, No Future and lost $326,300 over three sessions. According to Highroll Poker, Negreanu has lost a total of $1,996,393 in televised cash games over his career.
