Kenny and Lonis split $1.6 million each in the Kings Poker Cup heads-up

The King Poker Cup festival is taking place in Jeju, opening with the King's Charity $100,000 Super High Roller event. All the rake, at $6,000 per buy-in, will be donated to charity. The tournament drew 71 entries, forming a prize pool of $6,674,000.
The event was won by All-Time Money List leader Bryn Kenney, who faced Jesse Lonis heads-up. According to Lonis's post on X, the opponents agreed to a deal. Each of them took $1,600,000, but the trophy and the champion title went to Kenney.
Tom "durrrr" Dwan began the final table with the second-largest stack, having stayed for the event after an expensive cash game during the series. Dwan ultimately finished in sixth place and took $350,000. The key hand for him was one where his pocket jacks lost to Bryn Kenney's ♥️♦️.
Right after that, Dwan lost his last chips, going all-in preflop with ♥️♠️ against Jesse Lonis's ♠️♦️. On the ♦️2️⃣♦️♦️ turn Lonis hit a flush, and the ♠️ on the river was no longer enough to help Dwan. Note that durrrr recorded his first live cash since WSOP 2024.
