BC.Poker, CoinPoker and QQPK regulator may face lawsuits
The government of the Comoros has asked the United Kingdom for help in investigating an illegal offshore network linked to British citizens. According to The Guardian, this network issues licences to gambling companies through a regulator on the autonomous island of Anjouan.

The Comorian government stated that the regulator does not have the necessary authorisation to do so, and has begun preparing legal action against those involved. The public register of the Anjouan Gaming Authority lists 1,500 companies, including CoinPoker, QQPK and BC.Poker, the title sponsor of Leicester City FC.

Anjouan Licensing Services began issuing gambling licences in May 2023, amid tightening regulation in Curaçao and the Philippines. The journalists' investigation found that assistance in obtaining Anjouan licences is provided by Anjouan Corporate Services (ACS), which is linked to the British Sorsky family.

In December 2025, the Central Bank of the Comoros described ACS as a fictitious entity. However, the regulator's complaint concerned banking activity, not the gambling business.

Harold Sorsky, one of the co-owners of ACS Global Custodian, told The Guardian that the company is not involved in issuing gaming licences.

The Comorian government has turned to the UK authorities and international law enforcement agencies for help in investigating the case.
