Day 6 WSOP Main Event

The sixth day of play at the Main Event ended with 62 players remaining in the battle for the World Champion title and $10,000,000 for first place. The tournament chip leader is American Tyler Gaston, who has amassed a stack of 140 BB.

The main storyline of Day 6 is the run of Todd Brunson, a member of the Poker Hall of Fame, who sits in 9th place with a stack of 113 BB. If Todd wins, he and his father Doyle Brunson would become the first father-and-son pair in history to win the Main Event.

Among those eliminated from the tournament are Wesley Fei, Sean Winter, Kaitlyn Komeski, three-time bracelet winner Dutch Boyd, as well as Daniel Hachem, son of 2005 Main Event champion Joe Hachem.
