Kabrhel Secures Sixth WSOP Bracelet While Multi-Tabling Three Events Simultaneously

Yesterday, we reported on Martin Kabrhel's deep runs in the $600 Deepstack Championship NLH and the $3000 Freezeout NLH at the World Series of Poker, shuttling between the halls of two casinos. Concurrently, the Czech high roller was also competing in the $3200 WSOP Online No-Limit Hold'em High Roller. It was in this very event that he ultimately captured the title.

On Day 2, Kabrhel hit the rail in the freezeout, banking $9,620 for 80th place, and bagged a modest $1,729 for finishing 281st in the Deepstack Championship. This allowed him to lock in his focus on the WSOP Online event, which played out its final table live.

During final table action, Kabrhel moved all-in with ♦️♠️ to bust WSOP Online champion Bryan Wood, who held ♥️♣️. The Czech player spiked a flush on the river, after which he refused to shake his defeated opponent's hand.

Kabrhel's lucky charm on his road to victory was a large stuffed hippo, gifted to him by a railcard fan. The Czech pro had previously used a small hippo figurine as a card protector and a tool to sniff out opponent bluffs.

In heads-up play, Martin Kabrhel defeated Krista Gifford, who had just claimed her maiden WSOP Online bracelet in mid-June by winning the $600 Mystery Bounty. With this victory, the Czech high roller becomes a six-time WSOP champion and pockets $195,195. Gifford took home $144,495 for her runner-up finish, while Russia's Ivan Ruban finished fifth for $53,235.
