"I started enjoying poker again." A player told us how he beat procrastination
GipsyTeam user under the nickname "try2scareme" shared in his blog how he managed to develop a playing system and overcome procrastination.

The hero wrote that he used to regularly play late in the evening and could put off a session for hours out of fear of failing to hit his volume target and under the pressure of his own expectations. This eventually led to emotional burnout and anxiety.

What helped the player deal with these mental issues was changing his schedule. "try2scareme" started playing two sessions: 3-4 hours in the morning and in the evening. Thanks to this, he managed to play 13,000 hands in a week at NL25-NL50 stakes at an average pace of 290 hands per hour.

The hero wrote that he is happy with this volume, and with the new routine his perception of the game has changed as well:
"It feels like this is already a perfectly sufficient weekly volume for me to make money at my stakes and progress. For the first time in a long while, I don't have the feeling that every day I have to fight myself and force myself to sit down at the tables. I've started enjoying the process itself again."
