A cooler decided the winner of the $10,500 NLH at Poker Masters
The fourth event of the Poker Masters series — the $10,500 No-Limit Hold'em — has wrapped up in Las Vegas. The event drew 80 entries, and only five players made it through to the final day.

The first two opponents were eliminated by Clemen Deng, who started 5-max with the second-biggest stack. The American knocked out Andrew Lichtenberger and Jamie Dwan. Third place went to Nicolas Palma, who busted after a hand against chip leader Vitaly Zavorotny. That result helped Palma take over the series leaderboard. The American has become the main contender for the purple jacket, and so far everything is going according to his plan.

The title in this event was decided by a cooler in heads-up play. On a 4♠️Q♠️J♦️ flop, Deng and Zavorotny both made two pair. But the Latvian player had the better hand thanks to pocket Q♦️4♥️ against the American's J♣️4♦️.

The turn brought the 4♣️, giving both opponents a full house. Zavorotny bet 350,000 and got a call. On the 8♣️ river, Deng shoved after his opponent's overbet. Zavorotny called instantly and took his second PokerGO Tour trophy along with $244,000. Deng earned $144,000 for second place.
