Hellmuth, Keating, Gross, and Katz invested in the startup Sentinel AI

Phil Hellmuth, Alan Keating, Jeff Gross and PokerGO founder Cary Katz have become investors in a young company. The startup's concept directly echoes poker: a neural network reads behavioral "tells" and stock market markers, analyzing rumors, trends and retail investor sentiment on social media before they show up in share prices.
Phil Hellmuth explained his decision by saying that the algorithm does on the exchange exactly what he has done all his life — "reading" people at the table and catching stories before Wall Street notices them. The startup, led by Krishan Arora, has already taken on more than 200 public companies with a combined capitalization of over $250 billion.
The AI helps PR teams track forum discussions in real time, making it possible to stoke buyer interest at the right moment and instantly quell panic when negative rumors appear.
