FirstFund is hiring a mental coach 🧠
We're looking for someone who will work with players individually and in groups: helping them cope better with pressure, develop mental skills and improve the quality of their game.
It's important to us not just to talk with a player about how they're feeling, but to work on specific tasks and see the results of that work.
Who we're looking for:
• someone who has a good understanding of the specifics of professional play and the environment players live in. Personal playing experience isn't required, but it's a big plus;
• someone with a background in psychology. If you don't have formal education but have a strong knowledge base and practical experience, we're happy to talk too;
• someone interested in cognitive efficiency: attention, thinking, decision-making, managing cognitive load and other factors that affect the quality of play;
• someone who can and wants to work as part of a team. We have several mental coaches, we regularly discuss our approach, share experience and try to build a shared system of work;
• someone results-oriented. We measure the effectiveness of the work not only by player feedback, but also by looking at real changes and the impact on game results;
• someone ready for full-time employment.
