Calvin Anderson wins eighth WSOP bracelet while grinding an online tournament in the slots
The most decorated player in the history of Razz, Calvin Anderson, has won his eighth World Series gold bracelet.
He outlasted a field of 363 entries in the $777 Lucky 7's online tournament at WSOP Online and took home $48,914. With this victory, the American joined the club of eight-time world champions alongside Daniel Negreanu and Nick Schulman.

But the most interesting part is how exactly he won the title. On Monday afternoon, Anderson went to the Resorts World casino to have dinner and spin some slots. While sitting at the slot machine, he registered for the online tournament on the side.

By the time Calvin got bored with the slots, his poker stack had already grown impressive. The player got into his Tesla and kept playing from his smartphone right on the road. Anderson walked into his house just in time for the start of the final table and moved over to his laptop. In the end, he reached the final heads-up with a 50:1 advantage. For Anderson, this is already his third gold bracelet in the last three months.
