CoinPoker identified and banned a hacker in under a week

While the major poker networks are only now starting to investigate the trojan scandal, the independent room CoinPoker, as it turns out, banned Paul Gregg two years ago. It took the site just one week to spot the anomalous winrate of Gregg's account under the nickname "Europe" in heads-up matches against the best players on the planet.
The security team immediately froze the account and confiscated more than $100,000, returning the money to the victims. Gregg even filed a complaint with the regulator demanding his money back, which forced the room to spend months on litigation and gathering evidence. The cheater himself knew theory very well, and to mask the fact that he was spying on opponents' cards, he deliberately simulated technical errors and intentionally lost certain pots.
Austrian high roller and CoinPoker ambassador Mario Mosböck reacted to the passivity of other sites, where Gregg, under different nicknames, calmly made off with more than $2,500,000. In his view, this situation is a genuine failure on the part of the industry giants, who for months allowed a cheater to rake in millions of dollars and completely ignored every complaint, while a small independent room banned him in just one week.
