Moneymaker beat Foxen heads-up in a $15,000 tournament

Chris Moneymaker finished the OSS XL series with a bang on ACR Poker, where he serves as an ambassador. Throughout the entire series he most often took a single entry into a tournament, and when he did re-enter, he limited himself to one or two attempts. However, even with such conservative bankroll management, the American reg spent around $120,000 with fairly modest results.
But right at the end of OSS XL, Moneymaker landed two big scores in expensive tournaments. First, he finished sixth in Phil's Nosebleeds $25,000 NLH, which drew 51 entries. Chris collected $78,285, but called that result disappointing.
Immediately afterwards, Moneymaker entered Phil's Nosebleeds $15,000 NLH with 49 entries. The legendary player became the champion of that tournament, beating Alex Foxen heads-up. After the win, Moneymaker posted on X, tagging his opponent: "I just crushed the great Foxen heads-up".
First place earned Moneymaker $214,987. And in this tournament, just like in the $25,000 event, Chris stuck to a single entry. So in the $15,000 event his profit came to almost $200,000.
