Negreanu busted out of a high roller final table at WSOP Online due to a bad beat

A couple of days ago, Daniel Negreanu suffered a painful bust-out right at the start of the final table of the $10,000 GGMillion$ Pot-Limit Omaha at WSOP Online. The Canadian made another run at his ninth bracelet and yesterday put together another deep run, this time in the $25,000 High Roller Championship.

The event's final table started well for Negreanu. Daniel won a cooler with Q♦️Q♥️ against Parakhat Nurmukhammedov holding J♣️7♣️, making the bigger full house on a 5♣️6♥️5♦️J♦️5♥️ board.

Then "KidPoker" with A♥️K♠️ had a chance to score a double knockout in a hand with Ole Schemion (A♠️Q♠️) and Roman Emelyanov (6♥️6♦️), but the German reg flopped two pair on the A♣️10♠️Q♥️9♥️9♦️ board and took down a huge pot. Emelyanov busted in seventh for $190,599.

Later, Negreanu's fives ran over the A♦️Q♥️ of Pedro Neves and eliminated the Portuguese player in fifth place. But four-handed it was Daniel himself who hit the rail. Chip leader Kasimir Seire shoved 9♣️8♦️ preflop, and Negreanu instantly got his last 27 BB in with pocket tens. On the A♦️9♥️6♣️8♠️K♣️ board the Finn made two pair and took the pot.

Negreanu collected $415,699 for fourth place, and later on X he gave his own play a positive review:

"Well, played great poker. Not sure that guy realized I'm not making ICM folds here, but oh well! 86% to have the biggest stack. On to the next one!"

After Negreanu's exit, Kasimir Seire quickly dealt with the remaining short stacks, Erwann Pecheux and Fabiano Kovalski. The Finn claimed his first WSOP bracelet and earned $906,647.
