Is RomeOpro dragging out his debt payments?
Aleksandr "Gnat777" Gnatenko hinted in his GipsyTeam blog that Roman "RomeOpro" Romanovsky isn't paying back his debts, despite his profit growing as the marathon goes on.
"As far as I understand (I don't have exact info), the 'BR after session' figure includes rakeback, leaderboard winnings and coefficients.
The only things not included are expenses and debt repayment... Meaning the BR [bankroll] would be $359k if there had been no expenses and no debt repayment. I'd call that column not 'BR' but 'Marathon profit', but that's a matter of taste," Gnatenko wrote.
As for the marathon itself, Romanovsky's bankroll after 160 days has reached $380,770. In the latest session the reg played 216 tournaments with a profit of $14,003.

In one of the events, the WSOP Online BIG $250 Mystery Bounty, Romanovsky's play drove Daniel Petersen up the wall. The Danish reg, who was one of the chip leaders, shoved on the bubble with A♣️4♣️ and got called by RomeOpro with J♠️J♦️. The Ukrainian player took the pot with his pocket pair.

And the very next hand kicked off the mystery chest stage. Six of the eight players got it in preflop, including Petersen with 9♣️6♥️. Romanovsky, with K♥️10♣️, still had 3.4 BB left. RomeOpro knocked out Petersen and two more opponents, and pulled the second-biggest chest worth $18,930. All the Dane could do was lament:
"Roman, you're such a luckbox. You should have folded your hand preflop. A disastrous call. And he still took $19,000 after a hand like that. What a player! I just can't believe it."
