WSOP to Host Its Invitational with a $250,000 Buy-in

WSOP Paradise 2026 will host a multi-day tournament featuring both professionals and amateurs. The buy-in for the Pro-Am event will be $250,000. The format resembles the Triton Invitational, but with one important difference: the professional and amateur fields will be kept separate all the way to the ITM stage. Once the money is reached, the participants will be merged into a single field, and play will continue in the usual format until a winner is determined.
In addition, professional poker players don't need to receive an invitation from an amateur. They can register for the event on their own. Amateurs, on the other hand, must submit an application and receive approval from the WSOP Pro-Am committee, which will make an individual decision on each candidate's admission.
In 2025, WSOP Paradise hosted the $250,000 Triton Invitational event. It was won by Kaihan Mokri, who earned $7,725,000. This year, the two series will not hold joint tournaments.
WSOP Paradise will take place in the Bahamas from December 2 to 17. The series schedule now includes 21 bracelet events, among them the Super Main Event with a $50 million guarantee.
