An unsuccessful bluff knocked out one of the Triton Invitational leaders on the bubble
The bubble of the Triton $200,000 Invitational proved brutal for Filipino Sammy Sun, who came into that stage with one of the biggest stacks.

Shortly before the key hand, Yan Wang nearly became the bubble boy, but he managed to double up, holding on with pocket aces against Jesse Lonis's jacks.

On level 20 with blinds at 30,000/60,000, it was Wang and Sun who clashed in a hand. The Chinese player open-raised to 140,000 from middle position, and Sun called from the button.

On the 7♣️7♠️8♠️ flop, Yan Wang bet 225,000 and got called again. On the A♥️ turn, the Chinese player fired a second barrel of 450,000, but this time Sammy Sun responded with a raise to 1,100,000, and his opponent paid it off.

On the Q♠️ river, Wang checked, and Sun jammed for 2,100,000 against one of the few players whose stack covered his. The Chinese pro called instantly and showed A♦️7♠️ for a full house. Sammy Sun's bluff with 8♣️5♣️ didn't get through, and the Filipino went from one of the leaders to the tournament's bubble boy.

31 players made the money. The $305,000 min-cash went to Britain's Ben Heath, Ramin Hajiyev from Azerbaijan, China's Peter Wang and Malaysian player Wai Kin Yong.

The Triton Invitational final table is underway right now, with Eric Tsai already out in ninth place. Joao Simao is the chip leader by a wide margin. Russian-language streams are available on GipsyTeam's channels:
