Russian poker player Alexander Kropotov became the champion of the $250 Mystery Millions as part of the WSOP Online series. Overcoming a field of 47,798 entries, Alexander outplayed Jessica Moors of Canada in the final heads-up, earning $631,459 in prize money and a gold bracelet for first place.
Notably, Kropotov made it into the tournament's final day with a stack of 15 BB. Starting Day 2, he managed to run it up and reach the final table as chip leader.
Thanks to this victory, Russia caught up with Brazil in the overall standings — both countries now have 4 bracelets each.
