Tiffany Michelle Wins EPT Trophy After Personal Tragedy
Popular poker player and TV host Tiffany Michelle claimed a landmark victory in the €1,100 Women's High Roller tournament at the EPT in Barcelona.

For the player, who became famous after finishing 17th at the 2008 WSOP Main Event, this trophy was her first European title. In the heads-up, Michelle outplayed Frenchwoman Julianne Papazian, taking the €13,570 prize. This win ended her losing streak. Before her trip to Spain, she had gone 3 years and 10 months without a first-place finish in live tournaments.

The entire year of 2025 was a trial for the poker player. In January, her house completely burned down in a fire that she watched live through a smart doorbell camera. In the autumn of that same year, Tiffany faced cancer, but she managed to beat the illness and go into remission.

According to Michelle, returning to the game and winning on the European stage restored her confidence in her own abilities and proved the therapeutic power of poker. She admitted that this title helped her overcome the emotional aftermath of the tragedy and once again believe in her instincts at the table.
