Straight flush on the flop at the first Triton Jeju II tournament

The second Triton series of 2026 has kicked off in Jeju (South Korea). The first tournament on the schedule was the $15,000 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed, and a remarkable hand happened right at the start.

Taiwanese player Nevan Chan flopped a straight flush with 7♥️5♥️ on a 6♥️8♥️9♥️ board. His preflop raise was called only by Li Yiming with K♥️Q♣️, who then made a flush on the 2♥️ turn. On the 6♠️ river, Chan got a snap-call on his raise to 66,000 and took down the pot.

According to Triton Live, Nevan Chan currently sits in 11th place in the tournament chip count with a stack of 108 BB. Li Yiming, with 66 BB, is in 27th.

Artur Martirosyan is already making his third entry into the event. His previous one ended for the Russian high roller with an exit after a cooler A♥️Q♦️<A♦️K♥️ against Alexey Ponyakov. The Latvian regular is currently 15th in the chip count. Also still in the game are Alexander Shilko, Aren Bezhanyan, Alexey Boyko and Nikita Badyakovsky.
