Erik Wasserson became the most successful cash game player in the history of poker broadcasts

American high roller Eric Wasserson has officially written his name into the history books. Over four days of sessions on the show High Stakes Poker, he won a net $3,262,500, and his total career profit on streams approached the $10,000,000 mark. This surge allowed Wasserson to overtake the longtime rating leader Andrew Robl.

Wasserson broke the show's all-time record twice in two days. The $2,478,000 pot he won off Robl held the top spot for just a day. In the very next session, Eric won a pot against Michael "Texas Mike" Monchek worth $4,260,000.

Against the backdrop of Wasserson's record-breaking upswing, the other participants in the marathon booked heavy losses.

Andrew Robl finished the marathon down $779,000, while film producer Rick Salomon lost $2,252,000 over three days of play. In contrast, Argentine rapper Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo showed resilience and ended the series with a $624,000 profit.
