Lucas Jumalon wants to bring online poker back to the US

22-year-old American Lucas Jumalon, who won the WSOP Main Event 2026 and $10,000,000, gave an exclusive interview to the PokerOrg portal. The young champion went through the entire final stage as chip leader, matching Koray Aldemir's 2021 record.

The new world champion is ready to take on the role of the industry's main ambassador:

Ultimately, I want to be the best poker player I possibly can. That's my top priority. I think poker was really missing someone who would take the reins into their own hands. It seems like the game needs a bit more energy and drive to bring back its former glory.

Jumalon's main goal will be to bring legal online poker back to the US:

I intend to get involved in the legal aspects of the game and try to fully bring online poker back to the US. That would give the young guys hope that some things are still possible.
