Dutch poker player completes 76-hour marathon for a Guinness record
Dutch poker player and streamer Martin Hummel has completed a nonstop online poker marathon that lasted 76 hours. During the session, Hummel celebrated his 44th birthday.

In Guinness marathons, players are allowed to accumulate 5 minutes of rest for each hour played. The poker player used these breaks for short naps. Under the rules, the entire process was recorded on video, and independent witnesses were rotated at the venue every four hours.

The previous official record in this category was set in 2023 by Spaniard Sergio García and stood at 49 hours. If the committee ratifies Hummel's results, the record bar will be raised by a full 27 hours.

It's worth noting that back in 2021 Martin already held this status with a result of 48 hours of play. His track record also includes a 71-hour marathon at a roulette table as a croupier.
