In the US, an underwater poker tournament has been announced

The rescue-diver organization LSUR has announced a charity tournament, the 1st Annual Underwater Poker Tournament. This unusual event for divers and poker players will take place on November 7, 2026 at the Blue Springs South Aquatic Center water complex.
According to the organizers, participant registration and ticket sales will open on August 15. All funds raised during the tournament will go to charitable causes and to support the squad's rescue operations.
