The incident happened on Theodore Roosevelt Island during a morning walk with his dog. The raccoon climbed down from a tree and gave chase to McQuaid. As he ran, the player lost his balance, fell, and completely dislocated his shoulder. Doctors reset the joint under anesthesia, after which McQuaid headed to the casino.

According to Michael, the injury will require surgery due to a torn labrum. McQuaid himself took the situation with humor — his friends sent him a photo of the famous raccoon Jimothy, asking whether it was the same critter.
