The heads-up of the $10,400 Premiere event at the Onyx Poker Series has just wrapped up. Nikita Badyakovskiy lost to an anonymous American named Goofy, despite starting the match with a big chip lead.

The Belarusian high roller, playing from behind, twice put all his chips at risk. The first time he got it in with ♠️♠️ preflop, and Goofy called with ♥️♣️. The ♣️♦️2️⃣ flop kept the American ahead, but on the turn Badyakovskiy hit a ♥️, which let him scoop a big pot and almost even up the stacks with his opponent.

Still, Goofy closed out the win. In the decisive hand, Badyakovskiy went all-in with ♥️♥️ on a 2️⃣♠️♣️ flop. The US player instantly called with ♦️♥️ and a top pair. This time the ♥️ and 2️⃣ postflop streets didn't improve the Belarusian high roller.

Nikita Badyakovskiy took $585,000 for second place, while Goofy claimed the trophy along with $1,000,000. According to PokerNews, the American had never previously won even a six-figure score. His best recorded result was $20,300 for 12th place in the $7,500 High Roller at the NOIR Poker Series 2026.
