Nikita Badyakovsky made it to the heads-up of the $10,400 Premiere event at the Onyx Poker Series, taking place in Northern Cyprus, in dominant fashion. The Belarusian player knocked out four opponents over the course of the final table.

Badyakovsky started eliminating opponents in the middle of the final table. First he busted Damir Gabdullin in sixth place, winning a flip ♠️♥️ against ♠️♥️, and then the Belarusian's ♥️♠️ held against Sergio Aido's ♥️♥️. The Spaniard finished fifth.

The most spectacular hand was the one against Gia Skhulukhia. The Russian regular with ♠️♠️ opened for 2.2 million, and Badyakovsky with ♦️♣️ 3-bet to 5.5 million. Skhulukhia called to see a flop of ♠️♦️♠️. Despite his opponent's combo draw, Badyakovsky shoved for 13.8 million and got called.

The ♣️ turn gave Skhulukhia a pair, and the Belarusian high roller had only two outs left. And the card he needed came on the river! The ♥️ gave Badyakovsky a set. Skhulukhia busted in fourth place for a payout of $260,000.

A few minutes later Badyakovsky had another incredible suck-out. He shoved preflop with ♣️♣️ against Oshri Lahmani's ♠️♠️. The ♣️♦️♠️ flop gave the Israeli the edge, but the ♠️ turn and ♣️ river brought the Belarusian player a runner-runner straight. Lahmani busted in third place, earning $375,000.

In the heads-up for the trophy and $1,000,000 Nikita Badyakovsky is playing against an anonymous American, Goofy. The player from the USA not only came back from a serious chip deficit but also pulled ahead. Right now Goofy has 48 BB, while Badyakovsky has 14 BB.
