Gabdullin, Badyakovsky, Skhulukhia and Lasovsky reached the final table of the Onyx $10,400 Premiere

At the Onyx High Roller Series, the first multi-day tournament on the schedule — the $10,400 Premiere — has reached its final table. Of the 76 players who returned to their seats, nine remain. After Day 2 began, the organizers announced that the champion would receive $1,000,000. The winner will take home 13 times more than the ninth-place finisher ($74,000).
In the early stages of Day 2, the tournament was left by Aren Bezanyan, Aleksandr Shilko, Artur Martirosyan, who had been one of the leaders of Flight 1a, Boris Kolev, Timur Margolin and Alex Kulev.
Leading the race for the title and the generous payout is Damir Gabdullin, who became the only player with a stack of more than 10 million chips. The Russian eliminated two opponents at the pre-final table. First, holding pocket tens, he won a flip against the ♠️♠️ of Aleksey "Avrora" Borovkov, and then he landed the final knockout of the day, making a flush on the river against the pocket aces of Turkey's Sinan Unlu.
Almost in a row, Nikita Badyakovsky eliminated three opponents. The Belarusian high roller sent Sorel Mizzi (18th place) to the rail and knocked out Andrey Pateychuk (17th), catching a pair of jacks on the river with ♣️♠️. Another of his victims was Serbia's Danilo Velasevic, who finished 14th.
Right behind Badyakovsky in the chip count is Gia Skhulukhia. Following the Russian regular are WSOP bracelet holders Ravid Garbi and Sergio Aido. The shortest stack, just 8 BB, was carried to the final table by another Belarusian, Artem Lasovsky.
The tournament resumes today at 13:00 MSK. The broadcast is planned to take place on the Onyx YouTube channel.
