Draymond Green named the best poker player on the Golden State [Warriors]

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green became a special guest of the final stretch of the WSOP. The four-time NBA champion delivered the traditional "Shuffle Up & Deal", kicking off another day of play at the World Series.

After the ceremony, Green moved to the commentary booth and shared details about the hidden pastime of basketball's biggest stars:

"Yeah, we play poker all the time on road trips, during flights and in hotels. All these years Klay Thompson has been the main 'fish,' so everyone wanted to sit at the same table with him. Steph Curry could sometimes turn into either a Klay or an Andrew Bogut. But out of all my teammates, it was Bogut who was the strongest and most skilled player."

Green is known as a passionate poker fan. He has previously appeared on the TV show Poker After Dark and has repeatedly taken part in charity tournaments. His visit to the WSOP continued the tradition of inviting sports stars for the ceremonial opening of the World Series tournament days.
