Amateur Sky Chen wins WSOP Ladies Championship bracelet
Sky Chen became the winner of Event #68: $1000 WSOP Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship, taking home $194,630 in prize money. The tournament drew 1,475 entrants. This was Chen's first World Series of Poker tournament ever.

The decisive moment came heads-up against Aubrey Williams. Chen made a hero call, correctly reading her opponent's bluff, seized the chip lead, and carried the tournament through to victory.

In the final hand, with even stacks, her ♣️♦️ held up all-in against Williams' ♣️♣️. Her opponent took home $129,692 for second place.

The champion herself, Sky Chen, is an amateur who spent 11 years working as an engineer. She left her career in IT to travel and play cash games at $1/$3 and $5/$10 tables. She had come to Las Vegas to accompany friends to a mahjong tournament.
