Benny Glaser wins the Poker Players Championship and $1.34 million
British player Benny Glaser became the champion of the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, taking home $1,343,764 in prize money and his ninth career bracelet.
In heads-up play, Glaser defeated Josh Arieh, who earned $895,837 for second place. Phil Ivey finished third for $600,698. This PPC final table was Ivey's fifth in his career, yet the mixed-game's main trophy still eludes him.
Glaser matched the achievement of Johnny Moss — now only Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Erik Seidel, and Johnny Chan are ahead of both of them. All nine of the Brit's bracelets have been won in mixed-game disciplines: from Limit 2-7 Triple Draw to H.O.R.S.E. and Dealer's Choice.
In the summer of 2025, Glaser won three bracelets in three weeks. In the current series, he also finished second in the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship.
It's just an incredible feeling, I'm almost speechless. Winning the PPC is the pinnacle for any mixed-game player. This win erased all the disappointments and setbacks of this summer.
